Here's to Nine Years of We Are OH.

Hey guys Tyler here, I’m going to be typing a really long post here because it’s been NINE amazing year’s as a company and as CEO i want to reach out there and tell my side of the story.

In October 2003 me and Kyle got together and started designing things in our 5th grade class, now most of you have read the biography on our about page but it’s just something we all tell people when they ask about our company is how it was ignited and how it started, i remember the warm and calming October day that was the 20th because of how it started off as a good morning. Knowing i was only 10 at the time i didn’t think about how starting an idea to form such a company could spark something like it is today, originally i founded the company on a few different idea’s and those being how we would create different cartoons to give them away at lunch / recess. Our initial team back in 2003 consisted of Me, Kyle, Dana & Greg, the four of us created things that reflected on our imagination’s in 2003, after a year of creating things we had to move on and go to a different grade well.. Dana and Greg left the company in 2004 and Kyle and I pushed on with the company even though we had other priorities to attend to. Later on in 2009 we got back together after five years of not doing the company and formed what now is We Are OH Studios. 

It’s been a really long ride and we aren’t stopping anytime soon because once you think about it we’ve actually gone more places with this idea then we have ever gone with any other idea. So we’re announcing the biggest and boldest change to we are oh and that is.. 

 

PA PROUD will be the newest project from We Are OH Studios. The idea behind PA Proud came to me while editing a photo that i posted like three days ago that said “Lancaster PA. We’re here and we are never leaving” that gave me the idea to offer PA Proud as a state-wide community of Designers, Developers, Companies in general to get together and to meet some of the independent companies out there that have started off small and are making their way bigger. We’re launching this product at LAUNCH Music Conference 2013 April 25th - 28th and we’d love it for you to see this project! from there we’ll be launching the official site May 1st 2013 at 12:00am EST. We’re really excited for this and we hope you are too.
