Humble Beginning's.
Some of You might not know but Our 8th Birthday as a company is 10/20.
Most don’t know the actual Story behind the Big OH. back in 2003 Tyler Smith (me) And Kyle Gardner started a small company called Cartoon World. (website’s still up) out of their Fifth Grade Classroom, in 2006 the company merged between Tyler’s Cartoon World and Kyle’s side company into Pinhead Cartoons, now Pinhead was one of the first project’s Tyler and kyle actually put into work before their Hiatus in 2007, in 2007 a lot went down between Tyler and Kyle as Tyler was working with his Late Brother Jusin on music and such Tyler and Kyle decided to go on a Hiatus from doing anything with the company and anything of that matter, let’s step it up to October 2009. Approaching the 6th year the company came about, Tyler talked Kyle into a newer company which now you see as We Are OH. it’s been a Humble trip through the year’s and we’re super super stoked to be delivering the new’s this evening about something BIG.
let’s get to that.
Some of you might know of our company’s Verge Record’s and WM95 Radio which is something we happen to Love. so here’s the BIG News. in 2012 we’ll be pushing the platform even harder, come January VERGE will be readying for LAUNCH 2012 which is OUR biggest project yet. and one of the most impressive project’s the company has ever put it’s self upon since our beginning 8 year’s ago, And WM95 Will be working on it’s final Push into The radio waves in December then working it’s self into a two year conjoined Working phase with Sound Check Digital for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Down to us we have so much stuff to do over the next three year’s that even one person in the world couldn’t do alone that’s what set’s We Are OH From any other company that works in Design around our area of Lancaster, so this is what we’re going to do
In the end of 2011 and into 2012 Now that we’re all 18 and can do anything and everything we’ll be working our asses off to put up the new Free the Empire DEBUT Album and their bitching new website (sorry for the language) and other fun stuff that comes with being a designer and a company. As per working on that BIG project we’re going to be working in a new website in the first weeks of November that will include our Radio Station WM95 that’s been with us Since the early 2000’s and has been noticed by Local Stations Like FM97 and other stations in Lancaster for being Independent and home based. that will be based on weareoh.com/radio/ and Hopefully we’ll be moving Verge over to weareoh.com/verge/ if not vergerecordspa.com in December or Early 2012, that’s just the thing we need to do with the Label.
Now, i don’t want to give away what we’re going to Announce on Halloween so i’ll leave you with this, You know that big thing we had up on the Original We Are OH Site? had to do with FBR. yeah.. if you know it don’t spray it! we’ll announce it Halloween Night.
